Samafal is contracted by Department of Work and Pension to support BAME customers into employment and training. We have delivered 12 contracts where we had 900 customers into training and employment. 450 customers were placed into employment, 240 small social enterprises businesses set up and 90 into training. Samafal has success rate of 98% in the job outputs and sustainability of all the customers in comparison to the national average of 85%. The success is due to understanding the needs of the customers from BAME community and ensuring that they believe in gaining a job or setting up a social enterprise even though their English is very limited.

Samafal has set up large number of small businesses social enterprise. These play a vital role within the community and contribute to the local economy. The coordinators were on welfare benefit who needed support in understanding the legal responsibilities of running small business /social enterprise. Samafal carries out needs assessment for all the individuals and deliver workshops in accessing legal documents to enable them deliver and monitor their services and effective quality control of the service they deliver.
